Saddle Check & Fitting
A saddle that fits correctly makes a difference in how the horse moves and how you sit. During an inspection, I thoroughly examine the fit for both of you.

I check the tree, re-flocking, and how the saddle positions the rider. By palpating the horse's back, I detect any pressure points. The result provides a clear picture of whether the saddle can be adjusted or if it's time to change.

Frequently asked questions
I recommend at least once a year, or more often if the horse is growing, changing shape, or if you notice changes in movement patterns. Some horses need saddle checks as often as four times a year.
Have the horse available for riding and the equipment you want checked. We start in the stable – if the horse is anxious about being alone inside, make sure there's company for a smooth fitting.
Allow approximately 45-60 minutes for a thorough inspection including review of results.
